Help me with my TEACH account!
My initial certification expires this August. I have enough teaching experience and I was mentored, but I don't know if I have enough mentor hours to apply. How do I find my hours and apply? I'd hate to spend the $100 to apply and be denied! I can't find anywhere to ask these questions on the teach website either!

You need a year of mentoring. The school should provide you with a certificate OR they can enter it in for you.

this.
i sent everything in an envelope to the nassau boces office and they finished the process for me. i sent them updated transcripts (for some reason they said they needed it) a letter from my district saying i had 3 years of teaching experience and a letter from my previous district that i was mentored (there's no number of hours specified).

Yea the school does that part...they give some sort of letter to say that you were mentored for a year.
