HELP!! My 3 month old has a stomach virus!!(UPDATE)
I called the dr. she said pedialyte and make sure he perks up b/c he was sleeping alot. loose stool once today but vomited a few times.
He didn't hold the pedialyte down but perked up and had a wet diaper. Now he is drinking more and keeping it down. He seems starving.. we are trying to get him to drink the pedialty slowly.
my question: WHEN do we try formula again????
UPDATE: So we started him on formula this morning 2nd bottle. first was still pedialyte. He took 2 oz.. then the next bottle he took 2 /12 then the next 2 1/2 her threw up a little while after he ate. GGGRRRRR he was puke free for 24 hours!!!!
Do you think it was too much formula?? We are now back to pedialyte!!

Im not sure about the formula question (I bf), but I wanted to offer some  DD had it a few weeks ago (she is 12 months) and ped said to continue to feed her but in small increments. She threw up three times all close together and then she was better. Hopefully it will pass quickly for your little one. Definitely wash your hands a lot! I got the bug after DD had it and I was totally out for 2 days.

Poor little kid  I'd wait until he has successfully kept down the pedialyte for awhile so his stomach settles. Hope he feels better sooN!!

Ugh this is so tough, we went through this when DD was that young. Once her stops thowing up, I would give is 24 hours before trying formula again. Hope he feels better soon

i think we had to build him back up on pedialyte. like one ounce 15 minutes, 2 oz, 15 minutes , 3 oz... when it seemed like he got to a good amount holding down then we slowly intoduced pedialyte
