help!! my dog just ate..
3/4 of a chicken drum stick bone and all....should i call the vet? she jumped on the counter and took it which she never does.
can they digest bone??

we give ours Merrick food, which in the wingaling variety has the bone in it for them to eat...I wouldn't worry too much...just make sure nothing is out of the ordinary in the next two days..

You don't need to call the vet but you do need to monitor your dog. If your dog starts acting a little wierd call the vet. (Personally I call the vet for everything.... better safe then sorry...)

Personally, I would watch the dog very closely over a chicken bone...any throwing up is an immediate call or visit to the vet. Chicken bones can splinter very easily and cause problems so please watch your pup....
