Help! My poor Kooba...UPDATE

I noticed a tear in the bottom of the outside of the bag. It's not huge, but I'd like to get it fixed. It's my favorite bag and I'm so sad! Is there such a thing as leather repair? It is the Chiara bag, so it is that wrinkled leather.

Thanks!

UPDATE: Kooba got back to me, and they only provide repair services for damage due to defects and not wear and tear. Too bad, I'll have to find a cobbler locally.

Re: Help! My poor Kooba...

YOU CAN TAKE IT TO A REALLY GOOD REPAIR PLACE AND THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF IT. CALL THE TSORE YOU GOT IT FROM AND SEE IF THEY CAN RECCOMMEND SOMEONE.

Chat Icon I got it from Ebay, and it was from a sample sale from Clothingline.

Re: Help! My poor Kooba...

If it's a genuine Kooba, call Kooba's customer service and have them fix it.

Re: Help! My poor Kooba...

doesn't matter where you bought it. I would contact them and see what their policy for repair is.

IMO, if Coach can do it, so can Kooba... which is a LOT more $$$!

Hmmmmm, that is a good point. I was going to take it to a cobbler, but I could go through Kooba.

Should I call their 1-800 number?

Re: Help! My poor Kooba...

Should it matter if the tears are my fault? I believe they are from my cat. Bad kitty! Chat Icon But I'm willing to pay for it to be fixed, because I LOVE my Kooba.Chat Icon

I know, right? They are so $$$$$, and I would even pay for them to have it repaired. It's not like I expected it for free.

IMO, lambskin leather is not very durable. I had a lambskin purse once and it was in horrible shape after just a short time.

Truthfully though, it was my fault. I left the bag on the floor and my cat clawed it. He sort of ran by and his claw got the bottom a little.

Kooba

But I don't think the Chiara bag is on there. It is an older one. Here's a pic:

I have this one in white and green. white big, green medium size.

The studs on my green one started falling off. I called kooba and they told me I had to bring it back to the store I got it in. To bad I got it at a sample sale.. They told me evem though it's THEIR bag.. the store that sells it is responsible. Bullsh*t to me.. I don't think I'd buy another Kooba.
