help! my sister is on bedrest and...
my sister is due in the middle of july and she was just put on bedrest.
she has already called me a million times because she is so bored. I want to send her a package (she lives in VA, which is making her more bored bc no one is there!) with stuff that will occupy her time - what would you guys want???

I'm sorry to hear that she has to go through this . I think some good books and magazines. Also, maybe a project she can do in bed like a journal or scrapbook for baby.

Ok, as someone on bedrest, I think a package is a GREAT idea.
Im so bored all the time.
My suggestions....
lots of magazines, a good book, a couple of word/suduko/ type books. A New CD or a meditation CD? A journal to start for the baby?
Does she have a DVD player? Some DVD's? Nail polish and nail stuff? Snacks?
New pair of Pj's and socks to feel nice in?
If I think of anything else will post.

I too am due in the end of July and have been on bedrest since the mid of April... it is hairraising, I look forward to my Doctors visits as my day out.... here is a list of things I do:
Crossword Puzzles
Electronic Sudoku game
cards for solitaire
BOOKS,BOOKS and MORE BOOKS...my DH goes to the library twice a week for me...
snacks (my sis bought me twizzlers, almonds, etc.)
DVD's of TV Shows... my Dad brought over Lost for me...Im catching up
Membership to Netflix?
Oh, and tell her about this website... it is GREAT for bedrest if she has a laptop....

 sorry to hear about your sister being put on bed rest,,,I can imagine it's hard for both of you being so far apart....but the care package is a great idea,,,,I was on bed rest with the twinkies and that's when I started doing my knitting and embroidery it really kept me busy,,, I'm really crafty and took up beading also,,,so you might want to send her something like that if she is good with her hands or likes to try new stuff!?
