Help! My windshield was replaced and the tech tore my leather seat...

Of course, the icing on the cake is that they replaced my windshield with the wrong one- mine had a blue sun tint on the top and the new one is completely clear.

I was peeved about that, but FURIOUS when I got in the car and saw a tear in the passenger's seat. It's probably 1/4 inch in size, but circular shaped.

The company is coming back out to replace the wrong windshield with the right one. They said they'd "look at" the tear, but feel there's no way they did it.

Believe me when I tell you, it wasn't there before!

What do you think would be a fair thing for me to ask for??

I would call your insurance company to give them a heads up about the tear in the seat. take pics of it as soon as you can.

if they say they didn't do it, its your word against theirs. I hope they offer to pay for it!!

eta: you can't ask for anything (meaning $) until you know how much it would cost to repair it.
