Help need advice on teething relief
How did you know your DC was teething, and what did you do to help them feel better. My son is almost 4 months old, and lately he seems to want to gnaw at everything, and he seems so desperate, like he cannot get any relief. I had mentioned this to our pediatrician a couple of weeks back and he said he was not teething, but I think he is wrong. I feel so bad seeing him suffer, I see the desperation in his eyes. I have tried to give him teething rings but it’s not helping much, although I have not put them in the freezer because I thought that would bother him even more.
Any suggestions, I just feel so bad for him.

Re: Help need advice on teething relief
we are using the teething tablets as well. With the teething rings, put them in the fridge, not the freezer....the water will freeze, expand and create a tear in the plastic.
DD loved a wet washcloth and chunks of watermelon in a teether net.
The tablets can be found in stores like CVS in the baby aisle Target or Walmart in the baby section (my walmart has them hanging near the pacifiers) and even the supermarkets have them.
We use HYLAND'S TEETHING TABLETS/GEL teething tablets and there is also a gel form,
and
(found them in a supermarket, figured I try them) Teething Drops

Re: Help need advice on teething relief
When I see that my DS is starting to knaw on his hand and the drool is endless - I give him a shot of baby tylenol and that seems to relive his pain.

Re: Help need advice on teething relief
I use a frozen wet washcloth for DS to chew on....or else he chews on everything he can get his hands on.
Humphreys teething tablets are great!! I found them at CVS in westbury....but a lot of stores have them behind the pharmacy.
