Help!!! Need Referrals Quick!
Well, we hit the first snag in our home buying process. The inspector found one thing that could be an expensive problem to correct--one of the beams which supports the fireplace has structural damage and needs to be reinforced. The damage was caused by termites (not a current problem, but they were there at some point).
Does anyone have a contractor or someone else who could do this work that you can recommend? We need to get an estimate of the work quickly--we're getting pressure to sign the contract fast.

I ran into that with my current home I just bought last week.
The inspection co that did my termite inspection was hired by the seller to do the repairs and maintenance.
Try calling the inspection co for a referral if they can't do it.
Home Sweet Homes Insp. Co. did my house.

Thank you both for your responses! I called your guy Bridget, and he said he was available to take a look today.
Our inspector did recommend someone, but we haven't heard back from them yet.

He is a great guy, and he does really nice work. He just built a brand new house a couple of blocks away and it is gorgeous. Tell him Bridget said HI.
