Help on how to make eddie less bored....
He cant get around, so I cant run around with him, or take him to the park or anything we normally do. Weve painted, colored, done puzzles, read books. We watched A LOT of TV today, so much so that it bothered me, and Im usually not a stickler for limiting TV time. Any suggestions on how to entertain an immobile toddler? I would hate for him to spend 3 weeks bored and glued to the TV.

Cookie sheets and magnetic letters is fun. How about putting oatmeal or rice in a big bowl and letting him scoop it, pour it, etc.?

~i get these $.99 foam stickers shapes that you put together (ex. dogs, cats, lizards)
~shaving cream! i used to do it with my preschoolers but now do it with my ds and he LOVES it. you can do it at a table, make pictures, shapes, put pom poms or things in there for him to find. i just put my ds in the shower but that is messier.
~ finger piant, water colors
~you can make small bins and fill them with rice, beans, water or sand for him to play with. i put in cups and small toys and ds LOVES it.
~ build a fort for pretend play
~ if he can crawl around then maybe blow up a baolloon for him to play with
hope he gets better soon!
