Help! Opinion on what to do tonight! UPDATE!
So my DH and I have a friend who he works with, and his girlfriend recently moved in with him from out of state. Our friend is at a conference all week so his girlfriend is coming over tonight to hang out. I like her a lot but don't know her all that well. I'm wondering what we can do. DH will be around too.
We usually have the two of them over to play nintendo wii games, but what else can we do? There's movies...but what else?
It's at 8:30 after we've had dinner.
UPDATE:
Well, we just sat and chatted for 3 hours! No need to actually plan anything. We had a really good time. I always worry about entertaining people, and it always ends up no big deal, lol. We're actually doing a girl night next Thurs with one of her friends, and a mutual friend of ours. I'm excited!

In Maryland. Near the university. There are bars around, but they're not great.

Since it's after dinner, maybe y'all can just bond over chocolate fondue and wine.

Yeah, I was thinking of staying in. That's true. We do have a fondue pot somewhere.
BUT, I've been sooooooo good on my diet and I've made some real progress, so I don't really want to do that.

That's understandable. (Congrats!  ) Maybe play a board game? Cranium was a staple of my grad school extracurricular activities -- especially fun after a few drinks!
(Okay, both of my suggestions have involved alcohol. I sound like a lush.  )

Oh wow, board games!! That's a great idea. I should call her and tell her to bring some over. I think I just have Jenga.
She'll be over for a little while I'm sure. She lives just down the street from us, so it's not far to get home.

How about playing a game or cards?
Where you can have interaction with each other as opposed to playing video games where you stare at the tv.
