Help! Please any Recommendations for preschool or nursery in Bayside or Nassau county area....ools in
I would like to put my son in preschool for this fall. He is 2 and half now. And He will be 3 in this December.
I am looking for places in Bayside, Great Neck, New Hyde, Bellrose, maybe Garden City, etc. Any recommendations? Any insights? Tia!!!

We looked for DD but never put her in day care, but the schools we liked were Preschool of America (in Fresh Meadows I think) and Kiddie Academy in Whitestone. I didn't look at any preschools - only day cares since I have a second DD and wanted them together.
We wound up signing DD1 up at a nursery school at a temple 2 days a week for this coming fall.

Not sure how it is now but I know Grace Lutheran church had a good preschool in Whitestone and Church on the Hill in North Flushing is supposed to be really good. Also there's St Luke's in Whitestone

We are putting DS into St Anastasia in Douglaston, not one of the neighborhoods you mentined but not far from bayside.

Thanks everyone! I will look into your recs =) Im kinda looking for a 2 or 3 day drop off for a couple hrs. Like a nursery but not a daycare. Programs with with little bit educational development. =)

??? Pre- k starts at 4. Nursery/preschool starts at 3 and some places 2.
Where in Nassau are u looking for?

Thanks everyone! Yes there is preschools that starts as early as 2. I did check out Preschool of America in Fresh Meadows. It's really nice! But a bit too pricey ;( And I have an appt for Kiddie Acedemy in Little Neck on Friday; so lets see how that goes. Harbor Child Care in both locations are not taking his age =(. And, St Anastasia in Douglaston I called and left a message. Gloria Dei on New Hyde park rd in NHP, I really like. And a few more that I saw. Now I'm totally confused lol =( But, again, thanks all for your helpful suggestions and recommendations =)

DD goes to Crayon Box Preschool in North Flushing. Just a few mins from bayside
