Help please...with pics...

OK, I need help, what can I use on this window to darken the room? The white wood blinds aren't cutting it...

I have another curtain rod already up so I can hang panels but the blackout panels are not nice looking and not sure what else to use...thanks!

the wood blinds are pretty but maybe a lined roman shade would work better with blocking light.
beautiful room from what i can see!

I know you probably dont want to replace the blinds, but I think wood colored blinds would look nice and be darker than the white.

there is so much white trim in the room though...it's a baby's room and the furniture is cognac, was hoping to do something that would darken the room but not be too dark, make sense?

Re: Help please...with pics...

I would layer the top valance with darker drape panels and then put tiebacks on either side. That way, you can keep the blinds, darken the room and it'll go with the rest of the room's decor.

That's what I am going to do in my bedroom. My DH sleeps during the day and its too bright. But, he wants to keep the OLD blinds so we are at a crossroads.

Definitely tiebacks under the valance. Match them to the ribbons. Is that a chocolate brown? That would look so pretty.

I would go with a chocolate or bronze color. What does the bedding look like?

I'd rather not spend too much money if I don't have to but they do look really nice...
