Help quick medicine question?
If I gave dd Motrin for her fever how long do I have to wait to give her Pedia Care for her cough? She is 15 months.. TIA!

I would wait about 6-8 hrs. But this is just what I would do, Why dont you call youre Dr if you are doubt.

Does the pediacare have motrin in it? I think the biggest problem would be if there were similar ingredients in them. I have never used pediacare so I don't know what is in it, but it should be OK to mix sudafed type products with ibuprofin (motrin) and it is OK to mix acetaminophen with motrin --- since my doc says it's fine to do tylenol and motrin together for high fevers.

My Ped recommends NOT using Pediacare or any cold medication under 2 yrs.

My old Ped didnt recommend using cold meds before 2 but then my new Ped told me its ok.
If youre Ped told you about the cold medicine to the child before 2 and something bad happened, my Ped told me it was that the mom gave the child to much of the item and that what happened. I am only going on what I was told.
