Help, quick-opk advice needed
We are going on month 9 of ttc with no success. I am seeing an RE on Dec 17th.
Tomorrow I am having a nasal polyp removed under twighlight sedation (like what they give you when you have dental surgery).
Well, wouldn't you know it- positive opk yesterday. I called my OB, the RE and the Anesthesiologist to see if we could still BD this weekend.
The recpt at OB said yes, but the RE and Anestheiologist said no.... I cannot reschedule the surgery.. So, I cried all the way through Stop and Shop and ate half a box of Teddy Grahams.
I am soooo frustrated and heartbroken. I feel like there is always something in the way of me getting pg...
My question is....
Since I got a positive opk yesterday and then again today, can we BD tomorrow night and Tuesday night... That would be 24 and 48 hours after the 2nd positive opk??? Can it still work??

If your surgery is tomorrow- why can't you BD tonight?

I was told not to because I will be having the anesthesia in the morning..

If both Drs said no, I would take that advice.
I wouldn't only listen to the receptionist at the OBG office.
What if you BD just after the surgery?

From what I have read, you should BD the day you get a positive OPK, as well as the next day. Then BD the day you O as well. I would BD tomorrow and the next day for good measure! Not sure why the Dr.'s won't let you BD though...are they worried that you will get PG first and then have anesthesia? I wouldn't think that the baby would be effected that early anyway.
