Help re: Oil Company ??
Just got an email from my realtor re: the seller's PETRO contract is renewable this month - if we want, they'll renew it and we'll work out the cost at closing ....
Do I agree to this ? Do I not agree to this ? How does one decide ??
STUPID question I know, I feel like a 5 year old right now ......... TIA !!

Re: Help re: Oil Company ??
I wouldn't. I would search for a different company with a better price!

Re: Help re: Oil Company ??
PETRO is high ??
The only thing I'm concerned about is the fact that the oil burner is old and it at the top of our priority list for replacement .......but ALL companies have service contracts in case this thing decides to die on me when I move in ...right ??
I'm sorry I sound so completely ignorant, I've been living in an NYC apartment - Welcome to the realiy of owning a house !

Re: Help re: Oil Company ??
Id call all the oil companies that service your area and find out what prices they are offering, that's the only way you'll know who has the best prices right now.
I did this last week and Slomins had the lowest price (they were lower than Petro too) All the major oil companies will give you a service contract for the year so dont worry about your buner being old.
