Help! Red Gatorade in my carpet-UPDATE
Anyone know a miracle to get it out? The steam cleaners were here today and it barely touched it. They never guarantee red stains but I had my carpets cleaned anyway because they needed it done. I was hoping for the best but you can still see the stains and it's driving me nuts!
Update: I used the ironing trick and it sort of worked. The stains are far better than they were but not completely gone. I am sure the fact that they were there for a week and then got steam cleaned didn't help. Overall though I'm pleased that you have to be close to really see them.

I found this ironing method online, seems to have worked for a few people!
RE: Kool Aid Stains on Carpet Post By Kelly (Guest Post) (06/09/2007) I had a red gatorade stain that would not budge! I went through steam cleaning, spot shot, folex, everything! 1 tsp of dawn soap in 4 cups of water, pour it on the stain, put a white dish cloth over the top and iron the dishcloth, the stain was gone!!!! Amazed!

Re: Help! Red Gatorade in my carpet
try Gonzo. It comes in a little white bottlw with a red cap. Most supermarkets have it. It even takes out red wine. I always keep it in my house.

This looks promising. I am going to try this today. Thanks so much. I googled but never got this website.
