Help thy neighbor. video from upstate

How is the wind by you? Its been getting worse here all day. The winds are still in the 40-50mph range. Our lights and cable have been going off and on. We now have 2 pontoon boats instead of 1! I went down to the docks to check on my dad who was gone for a while. I see him chest deep in the water trying to keep the neighbors boat from floating away. Their dock broke and the boat was floating away with the dock attached! I ran down and helped him untie it from the dock. Then my dad and our neighbor held the boat as I ran all the way up the hill to the other neighbor to get the keys for his boat. He has emphysema and fell this morning while taking his dog for a walk and sprained his knee and broke his fingers. Poor guy. I run down(in the pouring rain BTW), give my dad the keys and he drives it a couple docks down to our house. So now we have 2 instead of 1 LOL I really hope our dock can hold them both! It was quite an adventure for one day!

How is it by you? I heard most of you dont have power? Im worried about my house in Shoreham. My husbands been at the firehouse in Brooklyn since Friday!

All of my friends & parents in wading river have no power since 6 am, not sure about shoreham

Awesome. I am curently down at the docks. Another neighbors dock came apart ans his boat is gone! My next door neighbors dock is crumbling right now and were trying to secure his boat before it blows away. Curently waiting for lights bc its black here. Oh crap! 2 more neighbors just lost their docks!!! This is so bad!
