HELP!! W-Related-Duet Brides...
First -How many proofs did you rcv???
Secondly....I'm confused about the whole proof/cd process...
I thought we would get our proofs printed for us, they would pick the best to get printed, and we would rcv the cd w/ALL the pics taken at the same time, in case we liked some from there and wanted to use in our album??
but i emailed sue and she said i wont get a cd untl eveyrthing is finished-
im freakin out tho-cuz waht if i wanted a pic to be in the album that i didnt see

We got ALL of the pictures printed as proofs...
then got the CD later on with the albums.
I can't remember how many pics there were

We got 700 proofs. The CD comes at the end - honestly, I can't imagine even looking at more pictures. I have more than enough to choose the albums from.

We got almost 1000 proofs, but at the end there were alot of pics on the CD that were not printed with the actual proofs. You are right though, there were some that I would have wanted for my album

This is what I'm afraid of. We got 678 proofs, but I'm missin a few that I remember I took.
I dont want to get my album, then see a pic that I would want to be in my album...ya know???

I cant remember the exact number of proofs, but it was between 700-800... we got the photo CDs once we received our album.... but let me tell you, they actually picked the best pictures because I havent ordered any pictures from the CDs that I got... a lot of repeats etc. I wouldnt worry about it...

Its been awhile  since I was a Duet bride 
But I know that we got the CD at the end, after our albums were done..
the rest of the printed proofs were the 'good ones' and I believe we got around 700..
I too recall some pics being taken and then not seeing them in the printed set - but after inquiring about them, it was because those pics just came like crap and they didn't bother printing them out. However if you are really wondering about a particular pic, they can usually find it for you and print it to show you -- just ask
LITES I think I missed seeing your proofs, did you post them? I have'nt been on as much lately!!

FM, but i posted a few-my scanner is crappy so im goin to have to use a diff one..its scanning really small-i dunno whats wrong

Ok - first of all - I didn't even know I was supposed to get a CD. I'm calling them up first thing tomorrow.
I got about 700 pics. We had too many to choose from really.

By CD do you mean your video? I dont think there is a cd w/ proofs. I think you need to specifically ask for that.

We got 700 proofs back and were told we will get them on a CD when we pick up our albums which are ready for pick-up so I'll keep you posted

we got 1000 proofs back
we got them all printed out
we asked them to send us the CD of ALL the pics taken that day (which is different than the cd they give at the end of the process)
we had to pay $30.00 for the CD of ALL the pics taken that day -this is a READ onlny cd-so nothing can be printed off of it-if we want something we will have to pay for it
at the end of the process we will get the CD that will include the pics that were printed out for us-

I think we got somewhere around 700 proofs, we got the CD and negatives of all pics taken after everything was complete. There were over 1100 pics taken that day.  If there is a pic you want in your album that isnt in your proofs, tell them and they will look for it.

Back in '04, I was told you had to request the CD. Not sure if their policy changed. In my contract, I also requested that they give me all the negatives at the end of the job.
I'm going on 2.5 years and have yet to submit the pics I want in my album. I'll be in NY next weekend so I plan to do it then. Hopefully I should have it by the new year.
