help where did you get your new counter tops from????
I am about to be transforming our 1970's kitchen to 2008.  I am very excited to get this process done! Who did you use for this? I looked at home depot expo and everyone is telling me I could get a better price at other places, but I do not know where to start, who is reasonable, and nice to work with.... also we are getting silestone counter tops- if anyone has any pics of there before and afters of there countertops and kitchens please post . TIA! I was also told I need an 18 gauge sink- what is the difference? I am so new to this!

there is a place in Farmingdale, but I can remember the name of the place, but it's on Conklin St. I've heard they have good prices. If you do a search on this board you will find lots of posts about granite countertops and most places that sell granite also sell other countertops. As for the 18 gauge, it's the thickness of the sink. GL in your remodel!
