Help with a baby shower

Hi girls,
I am going to be throwing a baby shower for my friend. I have never done one before and haven't really been to too many so I was hoping you could give me some ideas as to themes, decorations, etc.
What kinds of things would you like for your showers?

She is having a boy, if that helps any.

Is your friend doing a theme for their new baby? If so, you can do decorations around that idea and favors to that effect.

Diapers, bottles, blankets, are the small items most mother to be's appreciate

At a recent shower I helped plan, a friend of mine and I went in on the car seat and the support system, the grandparents took care of the furniture, etc.

If you want to do some games at the shower, I have a subscription to this website where you print them out yourself & you can customize the games cards. They were great at my shower.
