Help with a craving.. Knish/hot dog (pig in blanket) HUNTINGTON
I know a place makes them.. I just can't remember where.
When I used to work in the village my office used to order it.
That was years ago, unfortunately.
I know Ben's has great knishes.. but I want the one with the hot dog in the middle.
anyone?

we used to go to a place called knish nosh, not sure if that's what you're looking for

I gave up and went to ben's
They had it
It was sorta what I was looking for..
Hot Dog wrapped in Knish tatters which were wrapped with an egg roll wrapper.
Not bad.

what you were looking for is called a hush puppy. it's like a corn dog but it has potato on the outside (like a knish) instead or cornmeal mix.
the only place i know of that carries them is pastrami plus on hempstead tpke in east meadow.
