Help with checking answering machine messages!

I am trying to use the remote access code to listen to my answering machine messages and it won't work!!

I have a radio shack digital cordless phone with answering machine. I know I am using the right code because I double checked it this morning.

anyone have any idea as to what I need to do to listen to the messages? i tried hitting * and the code, # and the code, *code# - nothing is working!

Did you try just the code without the * or # ?
