help with double stroller decision!
i need to get a double stroller. DD is due in May and my other DD will be 2. i went to bbb today and liked both the peg perego aria twin and the new baby jogger city select. i can't decide. the baby jogger is $$$. anyone have feedback or another option??? things i liked: peg is really light weight and easy to use, unfold, and fits my carseat. city select: is pretty light and not a side by side, wheels so nicely and can go from a mall to a park without any issues peg perego city select

Re: help with double stroller decision!
what i dont like about the Peg is that its 60/40, and if you have 2 larger sized children one is going to be squished in the 40 side.
i am not much of a help bc the city select doesnt seem safe to me.
good luck in finding one you like...
(BTW i live my valco baby double jogger)

I'm looking for one too and the only thing I can add is that I found the City Select seat to be far too small for my 2.5 yr old.

Re: help with double stroller decision!
I'm not much help...but I know the one reason I didn't get the aria as a single and got the pliko was the salesperson showed me how easy it tips....not sure if they still use the "floating harness" like they did with dd#1 but it un clips from the seat and could flip in the aria then....
I have the citi mini and love it, my three yr old loves it and my 9 month old!....if you want, albeebaby often has like 10% coupons or stuff and might lower the price on a baby jogger.....thats where I got mine!

I don't have any input on that stroller but I HIGHLY recommend the Zooper Tango. I absolutely love it! No complaints at all.

Re: help with double stroller decision!
I'm having a rough time, too. So far, I THINK I'm leaning toward the City Mini Double (not the select, the other one). I was impressed with how light it was and how easily it maneuvers. However, it gets MUCH heavier when you add the bar for the infant carrier...which is an issue for me because of a past back surgery.
I'm as confused as you are...

Re: help with double stroller decision!
i am on my 3rd double stroller so happy i bought 2 of them off of CL. My DD is 3 & hates the sit & stand & its so heavy. I also have a front to back its heavy to & also my DD is tall & still falls asleep in the stroller & was always hitting her head on the car seat ( as it was in the back) so i then went to the store with mt car seat & daughter & started to try out strollers. I loverd the city mini but i need the bar & tray ( cause my DD loves to eat) so i am looking at $600+. I ended up with a combi side by side stroller i have a graco safe seat & it would not fit in the preg-prego stroller. This one actually handles much nicer then the preg-prego one.

thanks for the review. it's so hard to know what my DDs will like. I've been looking on craigslist but nothing great has come up yet.

I am in the same boat...... DS LOVES my Maclaren Quest Sport, but I will definitely need something to "snap" the carseat into. So, I am considering a cheaper double until the baby is big enough to go into the Double Maclaren... Decisions Decisions.
