Help with Hershey park vacation
Can anyone tell me some good hotels to stay with three kids (ages 9, 7, 4). We've been to Dutch Wonderland, but the hotel we stay is a bit far. We'll be going in July. Thanks.

Re: Help with Hershey park vacation
CHeck out the Suites at Hershey, its a bluegreen owned timeshare.
We stayed there last year in a 2 bedroom suite. It was $199 a night which was the same price as a room at any of hte hershey hotels. We went with another family and it was great to put the kids to be and be able to relax in the living room. PLus they has a full kitchen so we made a nice breakfast for everyone. Ordered in chinese one night....and it had a washer dryer in the unit so it was great because after doing the water park or the pool we could dry everyones stuff.
And you could see the roller coasters from our room! So it was close although you did have to drive.

We stayed at the Wingate right near Dutch Wonderland. It's brand new. The rooms were super clean and the price was great. Indoor pool too. It almost reminded me of a less expensive Hyatt. We were pleasantly surprised.

we didn't have em the last time we went - but we stayed at the Best Western in Hershey - 100 bucks cheaper than any Hershey hotel (the suites, lodge, etc.) and same quality.

we stayed at the Super 8 the 2 x we went (we didnthave kids). its nota far drive from there to the parks and there is other things to do nearby (mini golfing, indian echo caverns, i think theres a gocart place too).
its a suitable place if you have kids too.

Re: Help with Hershey park vacation
We stayed at the Fulton Steamboat Inn in Lancaster and we did Dtch Wonderland and Hershey...
This place is under the radar.. It is down the road from Dutch Wonderland and a half hour away from Hershey.
It is very kid friendly. I remember it had a nice playground but the duck pond was under renvation. the decor in the rooms were fantastic. They had lemonade and cookies in the afternoon for everyone.. Everyone that I could see had children. I am sure we paid under $100 a night. We had 2 rooms- a king with a crib and we had a joining room with my mother who had 2 queens so JAcob stayed with her... We went in August...
