help with infant cold
DD has had a cold for almost 2 weeks. I've elevated the crib mattress, used saline drops, aspirator, and a humidifer. She is just congested. I put her in the bathroom while i shower for the steam too.
HOWEVER, she is waking around 4ish because she is so stuffy and can't breathe. It is so hard to put her back to sleep so i end up sleeping on the couch with her on top of me.
Is there anything else i can do in the middle of the night to help her???

Re: help with infant cold
It sounds like you are doing everything you can. Hang in there-if she has had the cold for 2 weeks, she should be past the worst of it and hopefully she will start improving soon.
If it doesn't seem to be improving , I would take her to ther ped.

Re: help with infant cold
VICKS VAPOR PLUG INS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's the only thing that I can do for Kristina to help her breathe when she's that congested!!!!!
I have that in her room plus I have the humidifier running non stop = the only time that she can sleep!
