Help with kid's movie songs
I'm trying to come up with a cd for Maddie's Birthday favors.
Can you think of any kid's movies where a song is a big part of it? I'm looking for "older" songs that were used so the parents could appreciate it too.
This is what little I've come up with so far:
What I Like About You (Surf's Up)
Send Me on My Way (Ice Age)
Accidentally in Love (Shrek 2)
Holding Out for a Hero (Shrek 2)

All the songs from Shark Tale (Will Smith; Missy Elliot/ Christina Aguilera- Car Wash; Golddigga...so many good ones)

How old are you thinking?
Lilo and Stitch soundtrack is pretty fun - lots of Elvis' Hawaiian (sp?) songs
Oops - sorry just read you're looking for something other than Disney...

Cars. I have the soundtrack, and there's quite a few good songs. "Real Gone" by Sheryl Crow, "Life is a Highway", etc.
