help with sleeping thru night!!
The last of my triplet boys wont sleep past 4.am. I'm so tired. Their 10 lbs or more and 4 mths so any advice ladies?? I shouldn't complain!!

As soon as I started adding rice to there bottle, it quickly made them sleep thru the night. They were finally full & getting enough to eat. We did 1 teaspoon with 4 oz bottle 2x's a day.
This was when they were 3 months because they couldnt eat food yet. My guys are now on oatmeal & they are 4 months born on 10/28

Ugh..my boys were sleeping through the night, but not lately. Not sure what has gotten into them. If it's the time change or what. I think they may be teething too. They are also almost 4 months old. Momma is sooo tired!!!
PregowithTwins, did your ped tell you to do this? Mine didn't mention anything last visit, but we're seeing her next week and I'm going to ask. Also, my boys are drinking 6 oz. so for the 2 rice cereal bottles that were 4 oz., were the rest of the bottles their usual oz? Also, what times of day did they get the rice cereal bottles? Thx.

Yes, we were told we could do the rice in bottle. My bigger twin was sOOOOO hungry that we needed to do something else. The milk was not enough for him. We always made sure we would put the rice in the last bottle so he would be full & sleep.
We are now on cereal & fruits/veggies. They love it, look for it, even cry when I am late. LOL We do this 2x a day & the bottles of milk has dropped from 6 to 4. I may even start givig the food for dinner also, they just love it & think that they would be better satisified. (the dr told me 2x if I add the 3rd it would be on my own) They do say to adjust to what you feel the child needs.

I just looked up your kids b=day which I believe is NOV 20.
My kids were born 10/28 so it's basically a month apart. If the kids are drinking that bottle dry, then I would tell dr you need to do something as they are HUNGRY. My Big guy would have eaten the bottle if you let him. LOL The bottle was bone dry when done.

oh my. I am behind with the solids/. I was giving the rice cereal bottles and now giving it by spoon, - cant believe how quickly they caught onto the spoon - but last night they slept through the night. cant believe it.!! lets hope it lasts.
