Help with Spa Bachelorette Party

My sister is getting married soon and she would like to do a spa-day with the girls.

I am so NOT a girly-girl and am clueless about places that would do something like this. It would probably be about 10 girls max and i was thinking of a place that would do things like mani/pedis, facials and maybe even massages. However, I want to keep it social so I don't want a place that is just going to separate everyone as they get their things done. KWIM? Also, would places like this provide drinks and snacks?

Also, what would be the approximate cost per person for something like this? I am sure it's probably based on the amount of things you get, but was just looking for an average price.

My sister and most of her friends are located south shore western nassau, but she's open to anywhere on the Island and even the city (but i am thinking it would be more affordable to stay on LI for something like this.)

Finally, if you do know of a place, can you recommend a restaurant for a late lunch/early dinner afterwards?

TIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what we did for my bachlorette party. It was a lot of fun! It was at Sandalwood & Sage Day Spa in Massapequa

Each girl did their own thing for massages, facials, etc - meaning that you were in private rooms for your sessions - not getting a massage in front of everyone! The only down side is I don't think they do mani/pedis there - but they do foot and hand treatments tho.

My MOH, bridesmaids and friends all chipped in to have food catered in there for a light snack while we were there as well. This was all during the day. Then we all went home to shower, get all the oil off and freshen up. We had a limo come to my house and then we all went down to Nautical Mile for drinks, food, etc.

We had a blast!! FM me if you need any more info!

Re: Help with Spa Bachelorette Party

I had my spa-jamma party at the East Wind. They have several options to choose from, from your basic services, services + lunch, and services + staying over in the hotel (which is what 7 of us did). ANd we had brunch the next day. It was a bit expensive ($300 maybe?) but when you think about how much everything is that we did (we also had dinner and drinks at Blackwells across the street), it's not bad at all!
