Help..I am seeing a change at 6 weeks.........

when he takes his bottle--actually afterwards. There is a lot of spit up and he has a lot of gas. He was always fine before and everyone always commented on how good he takes a bottle and with no gas.

Does something occur with their system at this age? And does it get better?

I believe there is a growth spurt around 6 weeks of age. It could be causing him to try to eat faster, and he ends up gulping some air in the process. His digestive system (along with all his other systems) continues to mature so it could also be affecting him that way.

I'm sure you could call your pediatrician and ask him/her about it.
