HELP...I need a quick remedy for a nasty cold!
Im going away next week on vacation, and i currently feel like crap. I'm all congested, and have a cough. It's like a head cold.
Anyone have any remedies that work for you? Or should I just call the dr., maybe there's something he can give me for a quick feel better.

Airborne always works for me. The fizzy tablets backed up with the lozenges.

I used the swabs right before my wedding!!
Worked like a charm!

jumping jacks usually help me break up the congestion (though, then i feel like passing out  ) no one wants to exercise when they're sick, but it really does Help.
then there's tea and honey and all that stuff (and ZINC!!!)
If you have a week though- you'll probably be fine well before then...

It helps is vacate quicker
It does work best before it si a full-blown cold, but it totally helps it go away faster.
Feel better & make sure to get some rest & drink lots of fluids

Airborne helps even after you get the cold- it helps you get better faster by boosting your immune system.
I can sympathize- I got sick on Christmas night and felt cr@ppy for the next few days.
The airborne does help you get better faster though!

it should get you to start hacking (yummm! ) and bring up all the mucusy stuff. Feel better!

Zicam worked for me. Be careful with Airborne - if you have allergies it might make you feel yuck b/c it has echinacea in it (a flower). Feel better!

start taking airborne NOW! Also, get the methanol nasal strips for when you sleep. I wear them when I'm sck and it help clears my noise.
And start drinking LOTS of water!

I just went and picked up Zicam and Coldeez, and now i'm eating chicken soup.
I hope this all works!

If you don't feel better in the next day, I would call your doctor. I've been sick since Saturday and still don't feel great. I am all congested and believe I have a sinus infection, so now I'm on antibiotics. If you have a sinus infection, that's the only thing that will really help knock it out of your system.
In the meantime, use the coldeez, airborne, etc.

ive been takin the tylenol sore throat and cough med-it works
and sudafed pe-for a stuffy nose/head
i cant take antibiotics, and this helps me a lot
also, greeen tea w/ a LOT Of honey

The next day you will feel like a wreck...its a bad thing going around. You need to call the Dr, for this one because It won't go away with plain old Robitussin.

Mucinex made me puke in the middle of the night the first and last time I tried it.
I swear by EmergenC. I like the orange flavor
pump up the humidifier, get some Vicks Vaporub, and wash your hands obsessively
