I watched parts of it, I STILL cannot believe the mother is only 32!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

It's definitely an eye-opener. It's hard to believe there are actually people who act/live like this out there.

can not believe she is 32 either, but her 16 y/o daughter is having a baby and she said she was that age when she had that daughter.. omg

I definitely lost some brain cells watching this show....

I don't get how people like this get their own show!?!?!?! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Because the lowest common denominator of civility and decorum is celebrated in this country.

As Chris Rock said, "I'm (they) keeping it real!!!... Yeah, real stupid".

There is no shame, there is no embarrassment in dysfunctional behavior or immoral conduct.

Instead, such behavior is rewarded with fame and money.

Our society is in a downward spiral and this is a micro example of it.Chat Icon

yes, just googled...Dear God she gives that child a RED BULL mixture !!!!

at first I thought this a show that enabled the public to laugh at some simple folk who seemd a bit "removed"....but this is not so funny.....that child has a torso of a very unhealthy middle-aged woman. And I mean that in a concerning matter as it is not her fault

Re: Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo

I watched two episodes yesterday out of sheer boredom, and turned off the third after seeing the "forklift foot"
I just can't - I can't watch stupidity and I can't watch this lifestyle.

She claims the go-go juice was a one time thing.

I do like how supportive June is of her daughters, but maybe because she had them so young, there really doesn't seem to be structure at all.

When Alana was trying on her pageant dress, she said, so Alana is short & chunky, so what. Which is great for self esteem, but she doesn't seem to know or care about health at all.

sorry, i have to respectfully wholeheartedly disagree with this

shows like this do NOT make me feel better about myself
it makes me sad for our supposedly civilized society

i feel just fine about myself, and don't need to watch trash to confirm it

Re: Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo

I read this thread a while ago and caught a marathon of this show last night. Wow! I was fascinated and disgusted all at once. I had to turn it off after the 5th episode. Not sure I'll be going back for more but I can't stop thinking about this family all last night and this morning.

The sister had her baby in the end of July. It was a baby girl named Kaitlyn. She was born with an third thumb. I saw it on a gossip website.

Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo

I caught this show last night, must have been a marathon. I will say i def gagged a lot and cringed, but their lifestyle doesn't seem out of the norm from what others around them are doing. And they may be dysfunctional (what family isnt these days), but they seem to really love one another. I def see the love. I will continue to watch.

Re: Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo

eww THAT forklift foot
gnats can even cause the infection to spread
how can you walk around with gnats like that setting up house on your foot..?!

I heard they are making plenty of money from this "show" so hopefully she is getting medical attention now rather than spending all her money on pagents. now she can spread it out

My DH said they only get $4K per episode...which is not that much. But, I bet when it comes time to renew, that price will go WAY UP.

Just hope they don't end up like John and Kate Chat Icon
