hernia after pregnancy?
hey everyone-
has anyone ever had a hernia after a pregnancy? were you able to 'exercise it away' or is it really only correctible through surgery? if you could exercise and at least improve the looks of it could you please tell me what exercises to try? i would assume crunches and sit ups but i knowing my luck, id be working the wrong muscles and make it worse
im so bummed- i gained 75 pounds during my pregnancy (my little guy is now 2, so this wasnt yesterdays news)- i ate very healthy throughout, just lots. well, the last month, i ate everything that wasnt nailed down to the table...
ok, i am now 10 pounds over my pre pregnancy weight. i eat pretty healthy i guess, havent exercised or dieted at all, not a single day in my life, and before you start throwing things at me, my body looks absolutely horrid. I have a belly pouch (combo of c section and hernia belly button, i guess) that definitely makes me look 4 months pregnant - yes, people congratulate me all the time on being pregnant...
so my question is this- if you had a hernia, were you able to fix it, at least a little bit, through exercise? should i go buy a pair of sneakers and start running or is it too late for that?
im so bummed- i never thought it was a hernia, just assumed it was extra oreos or something . my mom had told me to wear spanx every day but wearing them made me want to vomit cuz they were so tight
