Hershey/DW, White Mountains, or ThomasLand/Cape Cod
DS will be 3 years old this summer and we can not decide on what vacation to do this summer
Does Hershey have a lot for a 3 year old to do or are we better off just going to DW? We went to DW last year and stayed at Eden and had a great time.
Our other travel options for this summer are: -White Mountains, NH -ThomasLand/Cape Cod -Jersey Shore

I would go to White Mountains and visit Santa's Village (sooo freaking cute there!), along with Clark's Trading Post....love their bears!! You can also drive the Kancamagus highway and the national forest. A few waterfalls to see, nice hiking trails (we didn't hike very far), and just gorgeous views!! Also take the cog railway up Mount Washington (we didn't have time for that).
There is a new resort there called Riverwalk at Loon Mountain. Looks GORGEOUS!
We have been to Jersey Shore a few times (Wildwood). Love it there also, but I like NH more!

I second the White Mountains. We've been trying to plan a trip there for 2 years, but life keeps getting in the way. Look into Storyland as well which is another small amusement park.

I don't know about the others... but we've done Hershey and DW with my son. I definitely think I'd skip Hershey for a while. It seemed like a waste to go there. DW was definitely more his speed. My son is now 5, I'd still say DW over Hershey anyday, at least until he's a bit bigger like 8-10

Actually I agree about Hershey for a 3 year old. Dutch Wonderland is far better for that age.

Yes, I meant to mention that too. Hershey is not great for a 3 year old, imo. Not enough to do and the rides they do have are mostly kids only, meaning mom and dad are standing there watching the kid have fun. I like how DW has a nice amount of family rides too.

We're planning on going to the white mountains this summer with our 3 year old.
