Hershey Lodge

We are thinking about staying here for an xmas package and breakfast with santa. Anyone have experience here? TripAdvisor reviews were not the greatest.

We did not do breakfast with Santa, but did stay at the lodge. For the price I found it less than what I would have expected. I would bring your own soap as their soap was physically painful to use. The coco bean bit dig into skin and the hole is just annoying. We just went to hp and you can get really cheap tickets at the grocery store in town next to the park. We stayed at what was the best western, now named something like the Milton Hershey hotel, using a groupon for $120 with taxes and breakfast included for all of us and that was fine. Just make sure to get a room on the same level as the check in as there are no elevators. We paid $375 for the lodge for no breakfast for us only the kids and kids tickets and I did not feel it was twice as good for the money. Frankly, both rooms were equivalent. We were able to get kids tickets for 30. The difference was enough that I would look into other nearby hotels the next time we go to save some money.

I've never stayed there, but the new indoor waterpark looks fun! We might stay there for their Christmas festivities this year

I heard such great things but then I looked at it on Trip Advisor and it didn't look so great. And for the price I would expect it to be much better than the pictures and reviews I saw.
I was kind of bummed because I wanted to try it.
