When we go, we stay at a Red Roof in Harrisburg which is about 10 minutes from the parks.

We stayed in the Holiday Inn in Harrisburg. Straight drive into Hershey. Clean nice--not expensive. Hershey rooms are like 400+ a night.

we stayed at a marriott in the area one time that we went.
another time we stayed close to Dutch wonderland, right across the street, close to the outlets.
I was called Park Inn or something at the time? I think it was bought out buy another hotel chain.
I can look it up if youd like. It was very clean, great service.
the prices at the hershey places were insane and seemed totally not worth it based on the websites photos and reviews. I was going to splurge if they seemed worth it.

Willow Valley is always a nice place to stay - its in Lancaster pretty close to Hershey.
