Hershey Park for Christmas

We are going to Hershey Park next Saturday with our 3 year old. If you've gone for their Christmas celebration, how was it? Any tips or suggestions?

its amazing, you'll have a great time!! It was a really great mini-vacation Chat Icon

Be sure to pack extra clothes, we went further into December and it was freezing! Be sure to pack hats and gloves too. DD wore her snow suit with layers underneath. I doubled up on pants and be sure to wear comfy shoes.

The park has quite a few rides open and there weren't too many lines. The reindeer area was PACKED.

Oh and be sure to do the trolley ride, you go around town and learn about Hershey. DD was only 2 but Santa comes on at the end and knows all the kids names (you tell them your LO's name when you purchase tickets) she was in awe of Santa...lol The kids get a little ornament and the grown-ups get a kazoo.

We did the drive through light show outside of the park last weekend, which was GREAT. It was about 45 minutes long and amazing. It was just way too cold for us to be walking around the park. We went for halloween and were freezing then. Chocolate world is great too since it's indoors.

DH and I went a couple of years ago. We had such a great time! It was really cold and windy the weekend that we went, so we skipped the park, but the hotel was beautifully decorated and chocolate town was fun! We hope to bring our little guy there when he gets a little older. Have fun!

OH! I didn't know they did this - that is so awesome since with DH's job we can never go away until December - March.

Have a great time! Chat Icon
