hey everyone- question about trampoline

cross post- trampoline

i included the link, but since im spastic and it probably wont work, ill explain:

our little guy is 2, and is delayed in walking (and in turn, running, hopping, etc)

we are looking into getting him a trampoline, but i want one that is bouncy enough (to encourage him to bend his knees), with a handlebar, and of course, one that is safe and wont tip over

i found one that i like on the one step ahead website- its called kids safety trampoline- but im wondering if anyone else has it- if you ahve one of these, can you tell me if you like it or why i should stay away from it

also, if you have a different kind of trampoline that youd recommend, please let me know

thanks so much!!

Re: hey everyone- question about trampoline

DS is almost three and has low muscle tone nd gets PT. he is behind on jumping too. We got him a trampoline for Christmas when he was 2 1/2 and he loves it. He has the triangular shaped one with handle bars. We got it from Amazon. He uses it everyday and it has definitely helped.

Re: hey everyone- question about trampoline

We have the triangular one posted on the thread you x-posted. I got it on the Target website:
trampoline

We got it for DS just after he turned 3 and have had it for a year and a half. He loves it and uses it almost every day. I liked the triangular one better, because it seemed less likely to tip. It was a pain to put together - putting the bungee cord on almost sent us to divorce court Chat Icon but the end result was worth it.

Just wanted to add, that at their age, they really need the handle bar - if they are getting therapy, they probably don't have the balance yet to be able to bounce on it without holding on to the bar.

Love that trampoline! It is a huge PITA to put together but well worth it. My 4.5 yr old son still uses it. I see him using it for a few years from now.
