DS wants pretzel chicken - grind up some pretzels into "breadcrumbs", put a little honey mustard onto the chicken (I put mustard and chix in zip bag and let DS shake, same w/ pretzels and bake/fry.

you sure can but I can't take credit for it. rojerono gave it to me on the food board copy & paste from her post:
"Summer sauce is just what I call it.. I don't know if there is a right name for it!
I saute some garlic in olive oil and then take the garlic out and add some dry white wine (Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc is good here). I don't know how much I add.. I'd say probably a good 3/4 of a cup. When the wine starts to cook down I put the garlic back in, squeeze in some lemon juice - probably about 3-4 lemons. And added some freshly chopped tomato.. maybe 2 cups or so? Cook until heated through and fragrant.. maybe 8 minutes or so? Add salt to taste, throw in some fresh basil and toss it with the pasta. Then add some good Reggiano. It's light and easy to make. "
it's really delish and so nice in the warmer weather. Enjoy!!

Re: Hey Moms, Whats for dinner tonight? In need of some inspiration
We had diet coke chicken last night and it was SO yummy. Not enough for dinner leftovers, but I just had it for lunch again.
May not sound so appetizing, but it's DELISH!!! And very easy.
Season chicken breasts and lightly brown on each side in a pan.
While they're cooking, mix 1 cup ketchup with 1 cup of diet coke (or diet pepsi/diet cola). Whisk together and pour over lightly browned chicken breasts. Sauce MUST COVER CHICKEN, so if that's not enough, mix together another half or full cup of each (ketchup and soda) to pour in.
Throw in some sliced red and green bell peppers.
Cover and cook for 40-45 minutes.
Serve over white rice (or whatever you like). YUM!
*If the sauce is watery after 45 minutes, uncover and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes uncovered to thicken sauce.
Chicken will be SOOOOOO tender, it will break apart so easily with a fork.

Re: Hey Moms, Whats for dinner tonight? In need of some inspiration
Another favorite is breaded pork chops.
Season pork chops (we like using the spanish seasonings: Adobo, Sason Accent, and garlic powder).
Cover in bread crumbs on both sides and fry in a pan.
That's pretty much it, but they come out DELICIOUS! Serve with your favorite side.
