Hey...LIF Web Designer...
Why not make the LIFamilies banner wider so the whole page can be wider?
I find it really hard to read when people (like myself) post long subject titles. The page is only 2/3 of my screen...why not make it full screen??
Anyone with me??

Re: Hey...LIF Web Designer...
I have a wide-screen monitor, so I have even more "blank" space on either side....

Me, too. I have about 3 inches of blank space on either side.

Re: Hey...LIF Web Designer...
I'm usually on my Powerbook laptop which its tiny, so it usually looks fine to me.
But I sometimes go on our desktop computer that has a wide screen, and there's definitely a lot of extra space!

Same here -- and it causes problems with alignment and stuff when I enlarge the screen to 150%.

Re: Hey...LIF Web Designer...
It's probably designed for 800x600 screen resolution. I don't think redesigning for say 1024x768 would be a quick thing.
I hear ya though. On my screen at home, it looks teeny tiny.

Re: Hey...LIF Web Designer...
If you have IE 7 you can change the zoom level to fill the screen more (bottom right hand corner - probably says 100% at the moment).

Re: Hey...LIF Web Designer...
Removing the banner ads on the right would help and be a quick fix. Defininitely easier than redesigning for the 1024 audience.
But hell, I'm not complaining 'cus the forum area is even smaller on theknot.com! And they keep playing those d*mn videos on that forum!

Don't complain about theads, they make the site free.
I would love it to be fullscreen, too!
