Hi all!!!
Hi everyone,
Just curious, anyone who had a miscarriage...how long did you wait to TTC afterwards?

I have had several m/c and always just waited about a month later to try again.
Mostly just to give my body a rest.
D&C's were usually done and my AF's came back right away so I never wanted to wait more then I had to.
I think its a personal choice as well.

I m/c'd naturally July 20th, conceived again immediately after in August, I am 25w3d pg now. We didn't want to wait.

I M/C in Sept-and we waited until I had one normal period. Here is how it worked:
9/11-got a BFP
9/14-started to m/c
10/18 stopped bleeding from m/c(i had to get a methotrexate shot because my levels were not going down)
10/21-got AF
started trying right after this period which my Dr told me was fine. I would wait until you have one normal period before because if you still have tissue in your uterus the new embryo could have trouble implanting-or you could be lucky like Sweetness.

I had a missed miscarriage at approx 13 weeks, and had a D&C ..
I bled for about 2 weeks following the D&C, and my OBGYN recommended that we wait TWO FULL CYCLES (for me to get two natural periods) before we TTC again..
Every doctor has different advice, though, and every individual feels differently. A lot of people try again immediately and experience no problems if they do conceive.. so its really up to you and how you feel, bot mentally and physically..
For me personally, I felt it was the best thing for us to take a 'break' until we were 100% healed..it was very positive for us to wait a bit and really feel 'ready' to try again
