Hi all you teachers .....
First of all a HUGE thank you for your dedication to our children. I read posts on here now and then and am always so amazed at how much more than just a "job" this is to all of you. We are so very grateful for all of Cole's teachers.
If you're not from the parenting board I'll give you a quick re-cap .... My son, Cole, was diagnosed with PDD at 17 months. While he still has some challenges now at 3 1/2, he's a true EI success story. He was non-verbal even 10 months ago, and now attends a typical Montessori (with a SEIT) and is communicating beautifully. Anyway, Cole's journey has led me to team up with a Speech Pathologist and we have started a business called Sensory Street Kids. Its a mommy and me for children with developmental delays taught by speech, music and movement therapists. We're having an open house next week, and I would love for any of you to pass the word along to whomever you feel could benefit. I really really believe in this program and could use all the marketing help I can get.
Thanks again ... I really do appreciate it!

Re: Hi all you teachers .....
That sounds like a great place for children with special needs! I do SEIT and EI and I am always looking for places for my kids to have some social interaction. Thanks for the info!

Re: Hi all you teachers .....
Hi Lea! I think this is a really great program. My mom always says she wishes that there was a program she could have taken my brother to (he is 18 now and was diagnosed with autism at age 2). I remember you mentioning in an earlier post that you were trying to work out something with Gymboree, where I work part-time. I hope that something is working out with that because I think it is wonderful!
By the way, my brother was also an EI success story, so it makes me so happy that Cole is doing so well!

Congratulations on your business and on the success of your son. I teach ABA in an 8:1:1 program and as a home therapist. I give you so much credit and am happy to hear how well your son is doing!
