If your cycle is irregular, you should get CD 3 testing(fsh, LH) Your Dr will know what this is

Hi Eleanor
i too had very long and irregular cycles. This is something you may wish to speak to you dr about. I wound up needing to go on clomid bc of my irregular ovulation

ITA with the other ladies. Maybe just some preliminary testing and an SA to start off... not sure if you need an RE for the bloodwork, but we had our SA done through our regular dr.

Re: Hi I'm new and TTC since January....
I had VERY irregular cycles to the point where I could go months sometimes without AF. As it turns out I was not ovulating regularly which makes it very difficult to get pregnant. I went to an RE and after 4 months I was pregnant. You might want to think about speaking to your OB/GYN about having some testing done or seeing an RE to have the testing done. They can run blood work to check your hormone levels which is the first step in seeing if you have a potential problem. Good luck!!
