Hi, I'm new here...
Hi...I'm new to this site and I think I belong on this board!
I recently finished 3 rounds of Clomid at 50 mg, 1 round at 100mg, and still not ovulating or anything. Waiting to hear from my doctor to see what she thinks I should do next. (If she ever calls me back, I've been calling all week)
Looking forward to chatting with you all. Good luck to everyone!

Hi Jai Jai
Welcome to the boards! I hope your stay is a short one! You will find that the Girls on this Board are a WEALTh of Information!
Have you ever been diagnosed? Are you seeing a RE in the area?

Re: Hi, I'm new here...
Thanks!
My doctor doesn't think I have PCOS, although I don't know why. I seem to have all the symptoms. According to my bloodwork, everything "looks OK", in her words, except I have too much testosterone.
I haven't been to an RE yet, but I think that's where I am headed next.

Re: Hi, I'm new here...
You should consider seeing a RE. PCOS is such a complicated syndrome. I went to several doctors before I brought it up to one doctor who later confirmed it was PCOS. I was upset that no other doctor discovered it sooner. Too much testosterone is one indicator but I believe you have to have 3 indicators to be considered suffering from PCOS. You should also be in the care of a RE especially if you are on clomid. Clomid could also do the reverse and cause infertility if it's not monitored correctly.
Good Luck to you!
Here is a link to the Normal Values for Blood test. You may want to compare them with yours and see if your doctor missed anything. www.inciid.org

Re: Hi, I'm new here...
Thanks everyone. I hope my stay is short, too, but I just have a feeling that this is unlikely. I am definitely going to see an RE.
