Hi! New here with a BCP question...
Hi! I am new here, and starting to prepare to TTC. I went off birth control last month. I was wondering how long it took for those of you who went off birth control to get your first period. I am only two days past when I would have gotten it on the pill, but I am just curious what to expect.

I'm no help because I got pregnant on the pill, but I do know that it can take up to six months (more in some cases) for your cycles to regulate again.

I think she means how many days did it take for you to get your period. On BCP you get it every 28 days, but your natural cycle may be different.
My first cycle off BCP was 36 days long, the next was 29. I'm on my third cycle and technically AF is due tomorrow - CD29. But it was our first month TTC, so I'm hoping for a BFP!

My first month off BCP it took 48 days to get AF. The next cycle was 31 days, the 3rd was 36 days. I'm currently on CD20 of my 4th cycle and just got a positive OPK on Wed., so hopefully I won't be getting AF this month!
I starting using OPK's in my second cycle off BCP, but never got a positive so I am not sure if i ovulated that cycle. I got a positive last cycle and again this cycle. Everyone is different. Some get pregnant right after stopping, while others take a while to regulate. Good luck to you!!!

I was very similar, my first month it took me 48 days and second month around 36 days....

i am no help b/c i have short cycles (the reason i went on BC in the first place!) i got AF 25 days after going of BC and my cycles were 25 days, 25 days and 23 days for the first three months - then i got my BFP
