high blood pressure

Hey everyone just wondering if anyone has been in my shoes? I am 30 weeks today and my doctor put me on bedrest yesterday bc my bp was a little high. I am just trying to hang out and relax to get it down. Has anyone gone through this? Any suggestions? I am already doing no sodium with my feet up! Thanks

I do know it happens alot and it can be dangerous...so...just make sure u listen!
not much more to go!
holidays are over...use it as a excuse to make someone else pick up all the holiday junk!

Thanks- my husband has been great today getting everything done around the house. I just keep telling myself I need to just relax and everything will settle.

I've been there with my last pregnancy. MY BP was 170/100 something and after I delivered they kept me in the hospital :( BUT the good news is that alot of moms have the HBP diasappear AFTER giving birth so do what the doc says no exceptions!!!!

Yep -- with both pregnancys I had HBP You can do minimal things just take it easy

I have had high blood pressure since the onset of pregnancy, I was actually put on medication which has been able to keep bp lower, keeping in mind, i was in the middle of planning a wedding which i think definitely contributed to it.
The medication has been working well, but making me even more tired than i should be. My doctor hasnt mentioned anything about bedrest though.

I was just told I have slightly elevated bp, but a good one to talk to is PositiveTests. She is on bedrest now and I think she is 35 weeks.
