High Blood Pressure and TTC

I just got home from a Dr's appt and she told me I have a slightly elevated BP... It was 136/86... All my life I have been 114/74 approx.... Last month I had a cold and it was elevated then too... My question to you ladies is... Has anyone TTC with High Blood Pressure, and had it affected you in a bad way??? My Dr think it has to do with my weight which I'm in the process of losing but we all know how fast that goes... I am going to really start trying this summer and now I am a little concerned with getting pregnant with high blood pressure... TIA

I recently had a Hypertension issue...which is why they took me off BC. When I went to my primary my BP was similiar to yours....she didn't really seemed too concerned. When she was thinking about putting me on meds she said if I put you on one, it would need to be something that you can take when you get pregnant...right now I am not on anything...but we will see what happens when I get preggers......
