High chair for grandmas house
DD is at my Mom 3 days a week & will need a high chair soon. She is 4 months & I would like to get something to leave at my parents house. I don't want to spend a lot of $ but would like something that she can use when she's a toddler.
Any recs would be appreciated.

Re: High chair for grandmas house
I would get one of the Fisher Price booster seats. It has a seat belt and a tray. The tray can be removed when the child gets bigger. They run about $30
My DD is 3 and still fits in it.

Those are good but, I wouldn't use it until DC can sit up on their own.
The FP space saver is a great inexpensive seat.

I would recommend this too but probably wouldn't use it until they're a little bigger. I fed DD in the bumbo a lot when she still fit in it. We would do an informal lunch and I'd sit on the floor with her.

Re: High chair for grandmas house
The Fisher Price space saver high chairs are great. They strap on to a regular kitchen or dining chair. The seat has 3 different reclining positions, so it's good for infants just learning to eat through early toddler-age.
It's great for grandma's house because when your DD isn't there, she can take it off the chair and store it away. And it wont take up the space that a regular high chair would.

For the booster seat - I'd say 6-7 mos. The back only goes up so far and it doesn't recline. We didn't start using it until DS could sit - it is a great seat for travel and for when they are done with the high chair but not quite ready to sit at the table without being strapped in.
For the high chair - you can use it now since it reclines and is like a normal high chair.

High chair for grandmas house
We use the Fisher Price space saver in our own home and we love it. I actually got a flyer from BRU yesterday and it is on sale right now.
