HIIT ?
I have been trying this method out and I have a question - can the fast intervals be longer than 30 seconds? Can they be a minute?
THanks!

I am not sure, but I do try to do 40 seconds sometimes. I can't do a minute yet.

Re: HIIT ?
I used to do more than 30seconds and then snowboardgirl told me that if Im able to run more than 30secs at the fast interval, Im not going fast enough.
So now I go as fast as I possibly can and there is no way I can do more than 30 secs of it at a time.

yes, it is better to run faster for only 30 seconds. you want a major difference between the slow and the fast intervals- as much as you can.
