Mine actually wasn't bad!! I was pleasantly surprised looking back at pictures. My face on the other hand... eyes bloodshot and half closed with broken veins in my cheeks. But eh, no one was looking at me.
ETA: That baby is delicious!

OMG I made DH crop all the pictures of me after giving birth to cut my face out. And he was NOT allowed to post them anywhere. I would have killed him.
I looked frightening. And so swollen..
And my hair looks like shit on a good day so you could imagine on that day.

When I went back to my room after having my 1st son, the nurse asked me if I needed a brush. After looking in the mirror, I realized I looked like Broomhilda. So, needless to say, I did NOT look like that.

Same here! My hair wasn't bad at all after I gave birth to DS. But my face was swollen, eyes were bloodshot, and I think I broke every blood vessel in my face.

LMAO omg my face was so bloated my nose was huge my hair a mess and DH posts "our first family pic" on Facebook, I nearly killed him.
I do remember at my breastfeeding class in the hospital a girl came in all dolled up hair and make-up done we all looked her like girl please lol...hey more power to her.

this is so funny!!!
right before going into labor, i DID my hair. what a waste lol
i was a frizzy mess by the time it was all said and done... 15.5 hours of sweating will do that to you, even in the middle of the ONE AND ONLY SNOW STORM OF THE WINTER, but who's counting.
more power to her.

No one would believe me if I told them how horrific I looked after delivering DS - 68 hours of pure torture!!! Took days to comb the knots of my hair and for the swelling to go down.
Call me shallow, but since I am having a scheduled C this time, I am 100000000000000% getting a fresh blow out and manicure and bringing my makeup bag. I deserve 1 nice "first family photo", I never even got a bad one with DS
