Hiring a character for a 2nd Birthday...
I wasn't going to do it but we did get a good deal. $175.00 for an hour. At first we were going to do just the character, which is Mickey Mouse. But to do that alone it was $125.00 for half an hour. So DH was like "For 50 dollars more you might as well do the whole hour and have the character and then either face painting or whatever.
So we decided on the character, a magic show, and sand art. I think we got this deal because a friend of DH's has used them before and they know her so she gave them my number and they called me and the lady was really nice about it.
Do you think it's a bit much for a 2nd birthday. The theme is playhouse disney and DH really wanted Mickey there because Matthew loves Mickey!
I told him that we can't keep doing this every year...

Are you having lots of kids there? If so, then that's 175 bucks well spent Matthew hopefully will enjoy Mickey, the magic show and facepainting

16 kids...
No facepaiting. I'm not really a fan of it. It's going to be the magic show and sand art...

I know right? Doesn't it seem like yesterday when we brought our DC's home from the hospital as newborns? I feel like he was just a newborn and then I blinked my eyes and poof he's a toddler?!!
